The city of Annapolis is planning a vigil for the victims of a mass shooting at the Capital Gazette newspaper. But it wasn't just his height that made the nickname ring true to those who knew him best.

Ramos, 38, is a former information-technology employee with a long-time grudge against The Capital of Annapolis. The suspect in those deaths has been charged with five counts of murder. Ramos is being held without bail. His public defender had no comment outside court.

"The fellow was there to kill as many people as he could kill", Anne Arundel County Chief Timothy Altomare said Friday.

She said she's been "tormented and traumatized and terrorized for so long", that it "changed the fiber" of her being.

"He is very cold, he is very calculated, he is very intelligent", Lori said.
