Muscala will join the 76ers after five seasons with the Hawks.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Oklahoma City Thunder have agreed to trade Melo and a protected 2022 first-round pick to the Hawks in exchange for point guard Dennis Schroder.

This story will be updated.

Per Sirius XM NBA's Mitch Lawrence on Wednesday, the Hawks had been talking with the Thunder about a deal and hoped to receive an asset as well, which they did in the protected first-rounder in 2022 - which is protected if Nos.

The Thunder's main motivation to trade Anthony rather than use its stretch provision to get his $27.8 million off its books for next season was not just economic, though that was a key factor.

May wins parliament vote on EU trade laws
Eight officials have quit since that summit, including two very high-profile Leave advocates, David Davis and Boris Johnson . Because other lawmakers were absent, Mrs May survived the vote.

The Hawks were motivated to move Schroder after drafting Trae Young with the fifth overall pick last month and then trading with Brooklyn for veteran point guard Jeremy Lin.

The Rockets have been in flux this offseason, losing defensive stalwart and team leader Trevor Ariza in free agency to Phoenix, along with Luc Mbah a Moute, who returned to the Clippers after one season in Houston.

Oklahoma City also acquires Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot, a 23-year-old native of France who was selected No. 24 in the 2016 draft.

Enter Muscala, a serviceable big who opted into the final year of his contract and who can give Philadelphia a facsimile of what Ersan Ilyasova did after joining them for the stretch run last season before leaving to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks. He averaged a career-high 19.4 points along with 6.2 assists in 31.0 minutes per game last season, although his 3-point accuracy dipped to 29.0 percent from 34.0 percent the year before.

This all comes off a season that was arguably the worst of Anthony's career.

Liverpool make £62m bid for Roma goalkeeper Alisson
The report claims that Liverpool have made a bid of £62m, with £53m being offered up front and the rest being made up in add-ons. Courtois could move to Real Madrid and new Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is a firm fan of Alisson .

Last year, Schroeder had 3.2 isolation-based plays per game.

Muscala's $5 million had to be included to make the deal work financially.

It didn't take the 76ers long to get past the Nemanja Bjelica spurn.

Those are all smaller - but interesting - elements of a deal that always will be defined by Anthony leaving Oklahoma City.
