Ritz Cracker Products Recalled Due To Potential Salmonella Presence

Ritz issued a recall Saturday of certain cracker sandwiches and Ritz Bits products over concerns they could contain ingredients contaminated with salmonella.

The company says there have also been no reports of illness but chose to voluntarily remove out of safety concerns. It is conducting a food safety investigation, which it said may lead to the recall of other products.

Various Ritz Cracker and Ritz Bits products that contain cheese are being voluntarily recalled throughout the United States over concerns about possible Salmonella contamination.
