YouTube Pulls 'The Nun' Ad Because It Was Too Scary

YouTube has plunged a viral film trailer for The Nun into darkness following complaints from viewers who had been scared witless by the tried and true jump-scare tactics of its producers.

After dropping the six-second teaser on YouTube, which shows a volume sign increasing and then decreasing until the titular nun actually appears on screen, one Twitter user quickly took to the site to issue a trigger warning. YouTube has since removed the ad, though those of you fearless enough can watch it above.
