OnePlus ventures into smart TV space

Even in the past, the company took to its community to suggest the name of "OnePlus One" and "OxygenOS". The company also makes some pretty stellar accessories such as backpacks, headphones, and more. From ruling the smartphone space for a while now, OnePlus is now all set to enter the TV segment, the company CEO Pete Lau has announced.

OnePlus are looking to release their first TV next year with updates being required over the next five years to bring it to it's smart, connected potential.

This will be no ordinary TV, it will be one that offers a "seamless experience" and features AI.

Cleveland Browns to release Josh Gordon
Gordon clearly wants to be a Jag, but the real question is if they want him too? Both teams could use help at wide receiver. He missed the entire 2015 and 2016 season due to various suspensions for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

OnePlus' colours have firmly been nailed to the mast: the Smart TV is their next big thing.

The new Smart TV from the company will be known as OnePlus TV and the company has revealed that it wants to bring "the home environment to the next level of intelligent connectivity". However, Pete Lau said that they were working on an AI Assistant for their OnePlus Smart TV.

OnePlus promised that the grand-prize victor will get the first OnePlus TV product and one round-trip airfare + hotel accomodation to the OnePlus TV launch event.

Arsenal Boss Keen To Scupper Barcelona's Interest In Gunners Star
We will try to set a team up that can win with the tactics, and that's what I have to do. "He is fine now". "In his career Mesut played like a 10 and on the right, coming inside with his quality", Emery added.

Lau lists four environments for which users need to stay connected: the home, the workplace, the commute and being on-the-move. Expected to arrive in early 2019, the OnePlus TV aims to innovate intelligence with home connectivity. "These efforts - all of those long nights and weekends in the office contributed by this team and community have paved an excellent foundation on which to build the OnePlus TV experience", Lau added.

For now, we do not have much details but we can guess that it will have 4K with HDR and will run on Android TV platform.

What the OnePlus TV ultimately entails could be dependent on user feedback. Now when OnePlus has developed brand identity and a loyal customer base, it's the right time to make the most out of Pete Lau's 20 years of experience in smartphone and Blu-ray player industries. The TV will come with an AI assistant, probably the Google Assistant and an in-house solution package supporting different smart gadgets.

WHAT'S HAPPENING: Hurricane Florence looms over East Coast
A hurricane warning was in effect from the South Santee River in SC to Duck, N.C., nearly 400 miles. A graphic of Hurricane Florence's path, generated today (Sept. 12) at 2 p.m.

It is unusual for a smartphone manufacturer of OnePlus' standing to skip past wearables and other mobile devices, and go straight for the jugular in developing a new TV. Presumably, this hints at the strategy of offering something similar to the competition at a lower price.
