One of the most notable features of this device is the triple camera setup on the rear. Having a variety of differing lenses on your device can make it more suitable to an assortment of shooting conditions.

This puts to rest rumours that the Galaxy S10 Plus may be Samsung's first triple-camera smartphone.

As for the cameras, Samsung lists a 24-megapixel shooter at F1.7, 8-megapixel Ultra-Wide at F2.4 (120°), and a 5-megapixel Depth lens at F2.2.

The iPhone XR will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options in White, Black, Blue, Yellow and Coral colours. Both the iPhone Xs and Xs Max can be pre-ordered by directly visiting iStore South Africa's website from September 21.

The A7 packs a large 6-inch 1,080 x 2,220 Super AMOLED screen, which is nice for a mid-range smartphone. The Huawei P20 Pro has three cameras on the back, offering some quality faraway and hi-res shots.

OnePlus ventures into smart TV space
Lau lists four environments for which users need to stay connected: the home, the workplace, the commute and being on-the-move. For now, we do not have much details but we can guess that it will have 4K with HDR and will run on Android TV platform.

Keeping up with the trends, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) offers slightly curved front and glass back while the side frame isn't specified, but seeing that it has no antenna lines it's likely made of plastic.

The mid-ranger also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, support for Dolby Atmos (on headphones only), and Google's Android 8.0 Oreo OS, complete with Samsung's software additions - including Samsung Health and Bixby - loaded on top. Called Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018), the mid-segment smartphone will come in Blue, Black, Gold and Pink colour options. Not for now, at least, as Samsung told us that it will be available in Europe and Asia "this fall", but will roll out to additional markets in the future, hopefully including North America as well.

Earlier this year, Samsung's head of mobile DJ Koh promised to bring innovative features to its mid-range devices. The latest iteration of the Galaxy A7 apparently improves on the 2017 version of the device announced earlier past year.

It may be the same for the Nintendo Switch , considering Fortnite's exemption from the Switch Online requirement. Fortunately, however, Nintendo's new subscription service won't be necessary for titles like Fortnite .
