Trump insults reporter, White House edits it out of official transcript

U.S. President Donald Trump is being called out over his behaviour toward female reporters, following Monday's press conference on the newly announced United States, Mexico and Canada trade deal. "Like in a state of shock".

Cecilia then said, "I'm not, thank you Mr. President".

Trump eventually came back to Vega's question on Kavanaugh, though not before belittling another female reporter, CNN's Kaitlan Collins, who also attempted to ask about the Kavanaugh investigation. He then proceeded to say, "you're not thinking, you never do". Trump said, "Go ahead" before her question, and she paused for a moment during which it seemed like Vega had clearly heard what he said about her but made a decision to ignore it. "She's shocked that I picked her". Trump at one point said he'd be open to having the Federal Bureau of Investigation question the third accuser, Julie Swetnick, but also questioned her credibility.

It is not inconspicuous that US President Donald Trump has a problem with the media.

In response to a question from a male reporter about Kavanaugh, the President said: "I watched a man saying that he did have difficulty as a young man with drink".

After the president's jab, Vega took to Twitter to say she was going to keep doing her job.

The Dodgers got home-field advantage for the tie-breaker after winning the season series against Colorado, 12-7. Nolan Arenado hit two home runs and scored three while David Dahl hit a home run and drove in three more.

The initial transcript left out the question: 'Did you want President Trump to win the election?'

Several months earlier, during Anthony Scaramucci's not-quite-two-week stint as White House communications director, he appeared in the press briefing room to gush about how impressed he was with Trump's limitless abilities, and marveled at the president's ability to sink "three-foot putts" while playing golf. "You never do", he said.

This is, of course, not the first time President Trump has shown his flagrant contempt for journalists.

Trump also told reporters that he had seen many senators in "very bad" circumstances, hinting that he'd seen many of them seriously drunk. "You know what? You've had enough".

At another point in the press conference, the President broadly attacked the media, saying: "I think the press has treated me unbelievably unfairly". What a mess I would be.
