The U.S. Mega Millions jackpot grew to $1.6 billion, a world record for a lottery, after the drawing on Friday, Oct. 19, produced no victor of the grand prize, officials said. Mega Millions now marks the largest lottery prize in the history of the United States. The next Mega Millions drawing is Tuesday with the jackpot expected to exceed the USA record of $1.6 billion.

On Tuesday, that would mean a total of almost $905 million - before taxes, according to the Mega Millions website.

But if you are itching to play, you could win even more on Tuesday. If there is a victor, they will get the 13th largest payout in history.
