Here’s Donald Trump Calling a Black Reporter’s Question About White Supremacy "Racist"

President Trump called-out CNN's senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta Wednesday; roasting the reporter as a "rude, bad person" and saying "CNN should be ashamed" to employ the journalist.

Mr Trump had called the conference to trumpet his party's success in Tuesday's midterm elections, but the press briefing turned hostile when he opened the floor to questions.

It all kicked off with CNN's Jim Acosta who first asked Trump a question on migration and pointed out Trump's campaign had an ad of migrants climbing a wall.

Trump refused to answer a follow-up question from CNN reporter Robert Acosta, who persisted in his attempt to ask the president about the Russian Federation investigation.

Of the special counsel's Russian Federation investigation that has shadowed his administration for more than 18 months, Mr Trump said, "I could end it right now" but "I let it go on".

"Thank you, Mr. President".

Indonesian search and rescue workers had since found debris and possibly the fuselage of the nearly new Boeing 737 MAX 8. It has had issues of safety and poor management in the past and was banned from flying into European airspace until 2016.

"Well, I'm not a big fan of yours either, to be honest", Trump responded. "I want to challenge you on one of the statements you made in the tail end of the campaign, in the midterms", Acosta began.

"Mia Love gave me no love", the president said.

And he accused an African-American reporter of asking him a racist question about whether his embrace of economic "nationalism" hints at support for white nationalism. The way you treat Sarah Huckabee Sanders is awful.

"That's true", said Trump. "You should not treat people that way".

Trump continued: "CNN should be ashamed of themselves having you working for them. You shouldn't be working for CNN", he said.

Acosta started out by saying he was challenging Trump's description of a caravan of migrants coming from Guatemala and Honduras, intent on entering illegally to request asylum, as an "invasion".

After that, President Trump did his best to brush off Acosta's follow-up questions without answering.

He said he has never seen anything like Acosta's fiery exchange with Trump.

NBC, in particular, took some heat for their coverage of the altercation, with many conservatives wondering if Acosta should have put his hands on the staffer as she tried to take the microphone back. "The way you treat other people is awful!"

"That's such a racist question", he said.

He also described CNN as "the enemy of the people".
