German teenager fractures her spine in horrifying F3 crash

17-year-old Sophia Florsch, a talented Formula 3 driver, suffered a horrific crash during the Macau Grand Prix on Sunday.

Van Amersfoort Racing's Sophia Floersch was conscious and stable after the smash when her auto became airborne while cruising just under 280 kilometers per hour and hurtled into a marshals and photographers' area.

Floersch suffered a spinal fracture, according to a medical report released by her team Van Amersfoot Racing. Thanks to everybody for the Supporting messages. Her vehicle hit Sho Tsuboi's before being catapulted through the air and through fencing.

Everyone will be hoping that the update will be of a successful surgery and a speedy recovery for the youngster, who will hopefully be seen back on the track in the not too distant future.
