YouTube introduces free, ad-supported movie streams

One is this: You can now watch Rocky on YouTube with little to no hassle. However, Google's YouTube has quietly added several films to watch for free, including the first five Rocky movies, The Terminator and Legally Blonde.

You can now add YouTube to your list of sites to scour for free movie streaming, as the video-sharing giant has now added no-cost, ad-supported films to YouTube Movies.

The library appears to available only in the U.S. for now, and is different from the YouTube original content films that the streaming website includes with a YouTube Premium subscription, previously named YouTube Red. You can see the selection of movies and television shows that YouTube has available in their dedicated section right here.

There's no word on what other movies will be coming, or with which studios YouTube has cut deals. The company began doing this last month in their "Movies & Shows" section where they previously sold streaming entertainment, AdAge reported last week.
