Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Oklahoma to clash in College Football Playoff

No. 5 Georgia was the first team left out of this year's playoff, while Ohio State came in at No. 6.

Conference championship weekend offered the opportunity for some major upsets to transpire, and for a while it looked like we might see several undefeated teams tumble on Saturday. Georgia fell to Alabama 35-28 in the SEC Championship and did not return to the College Football Playoff after being a No. 3 seed last season.

Alabama and Oklahoma will face off in the Orange Bowl in Miami Gardens, Florida, while Clemson and Notre Dame will play in the Cotton Bowl in Arlington, Texas.
