But here's where the big debate lies for the second Captain Marvel trailer: what color is Carol Danvers' blood?

The new Captain Marvel trailer is here and it's absolutely awesome and we are all running around screaming like outraged geese at a children's party.

The trailer begins with Carol Danvers, in her green Captain Marvel costume, cautiously walking through a subway auto, intercut with a conversation between Danvers and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). She certainly says she will end the war between the Kree and the Skrull at the end of the trailer.

The new trailer depicts Carol's search for answers, and perhaps something more sinister at play with the team of "noble warrior heroes" that she works with.

The second trailer for 2019's Captain Marvel was released on the big screen, during an National Football League game between the Washington Redskins and Super Bowl champions, the Philadelphia Eagles.

This is alluded to further as she's seen explaining to Fury, "I keep having these memories... something in my past is the key to all of this".

Luckily, according to MCU boss Kevin Feige, she's 'the strongest character we've had yet', so if anyone's going to sort it, she will. The audience also finds out more clues about Captain Marvel's past in the trailer.
