The next launch is of an Air Force GPS III satellite and SpaceX is not planning to recover the booster on that mission.

Elon Musk later confirmed the issue, saying 'Grid fin hydraulic pump stalled, so Falcon landed just out to sea'.

It was the first time SpaceX ever failed to land a booster on solid ground, following a string of 12 straight successes. The fact that the team officially confirmed yesterday's successful launch of the Falcon 9 rocket for which the current session was the third in a row - and this is not surprising, considering the truly long-term operation. The booster splashed down just offshore intact, he said, and it was even transmitting data.

Imran wants peace in Kabul without fighting others’ war
In his first interview to foreign media, PM Khan had said that he has asked his government to find out the status of the case. Kabul does not have control of about 45 percent of Afghanistan, the latest assessment by the U.S.

The launch was delayed a day when NASA discovered that the food for the mouse-tronauts was moldy.

The bad food was replaced ahead of Wednesday's launch.

Other experiments included in the mission include an effort to measure and perform 3D mapping of Earth's tropical and temperate forests; a test of a robotic technology to refuel spacecraft in space; and two student experiments inspired by the "Guardians of the Galaxy" films. According to NASA officials, there are two Russian Soyuz spacecraft, which bring crewmembers to the station; two Russian Progress spacecraft; and Northrop Grumman's Cygnus spacecraft.

Astronauts who are lucky enough to score a gig aboard the International Space Station make a lot of sacrifices in the name of science. The crew-carrying version of Dragon is scheduled to fly a test mission next month, and if all goes well, will carry astronauts to the station later in the year in what would be the first crewed flight from US soil since the space shuttles retired in 2011.

See that small space station?

Experiments onboard the SpaceX Dragon capsule include studies on wound healing in space, as well as two studies by students inspired by Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" will also launch to the orbiting laboratory. It is joining five other "visiting vehicles" now docked there: two Soyuz crew spacecraft, two Russian Progress cargo spacecraft, and a Northrop Grumman Cygnus cargo spacecraft. Its first step was about to land back at the launch site. It, together with the ship Crew Dragon will with slight modifications be used to derive astronauts into orbit and return them to the Earth.
