Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy on the charge at Genesis Open

Woods clearly found something Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, according to the weatherman, it won't last.

Woods, the tournament host for the Genesis Open, played 30 holes on Friday, 14 on Saturday as the second round was completed and then - hours later - the third round started. Although golf has traditionally been more focused on finesse over fitness, this may well come down to a strongman contest. Spieth three-putted for par on the opening hole, missing from 3 feet, and three-putted from the fringe on No. 3 for a bogey to fall six shots behind.

Although he got hot on the greens at the start of the third round when he went birdie, eagle, birdie, birdie, he was disappointed in his putting overall. And I make a couple more putts?

Paul Casey, who finished runner-up to Phil Mickelson last week, continued his good form with a 66 to be five adrift.

The bitter part is that this is the last time, but the sweet part about it is how many memories that we've had over the years. This is the era of prolific three-point shooting and this All-Star game reflected that.

LPGA: In Adelaide, Australia, Nelly Korda made up for an early bogey on the back nine with three consecutive birdies and four on her final six holes to shoot a 5-under 67 and take a three-stroke lead after three rounds of the Women's Australian Open. He teed off his third round almost nine hours later and got just seven holes in before a quick sleep and an eight-hour final Sunday sprint to the finish.

Everywhere that Tiger Woods went, a U.S. Open-sized gallery followed.

Woods's putter kept him from contending this week; he had six three-putts total, including four alone in his opening-round 70, and looked uncomfortable on the slippery poa annua greens all week.

"I got exhausted; there's no doubt, " Woods said. "Can't get any worse than it was the first day; four three-putts is as bad as a human being can putt". That was positive, and I got off to a nice little roll.

Back in 2017, Russian officials announced plans to route 95% of all Russian internet traffic through domestic servers by 2020 . Russian Federation is set to temporarily "unplug" from the internet as part of its planning for a potential future cyber-war.

Back nine (3-over 38): A 5-5 start on the front nine (his last nine of the event) quelled that, though.

Woods made further strides up the leaderboard when he drained a 20-foot putt for birdie at 12 and another from 15 feet at the 13th, and he will return to take on a tricky pitch and putt to save par on the 17th having decided it was too dark to complete the hole moments after the klaxons echoed around the course.

"I can hit the ball as hard as I did on 9, and I cannot clear the bunker like Rory did with a toe shot", Woods said. The weather, the long days, and just the temperature, trying to be focused for long periods of time.

"I think I've seen briefly the forecast is pretty hard, so I'm going to need to be patient because I'm playing so many holes", Thomas said.

Something tells me these two teams will meet in the playoffs, and Embiid will have to step up if they're going to hang with them. After leading 74-53 at halftime, the Celtics allowed the Clippers to make a 28-12 run in the third quarter.

"It's going to be a tough day for all of us and one that we're going to have to fight through". He added another birdie on Saturday morning to post 11 under, tied with Adam Scott for the lead.
