R. Kelly gives explosive interview while out on bail

Kelly, one of the best-selling music artists of all time, told Gayle King of "CBS This Morning" that he never sexually abused women or controlled their lives. He was to be transferred to a jail.

Allegations of sexual abuse have trailed Kelly over the past 25 years.

"Absolutely", Kelly alleged. "Are the cameras still going?"

Director Ava Duvernay wrote, "There's a lot going on in these R. Kelly clips".

"I have been assassinated, "Kelly said". "Absolutely no, it's not, because, for one, I beat my case", he says. "This is not me!" "I'm fighting for my fucking life!"

When asked if he held women against their will, Kelly fired back. He denied doing anything against their will.

The singer continued: "Use your common sense". "That's stupid, guys. Is this camera on me? Why would I? How stupid would it be for R. Kelly, with all I've been through in my way, way past, to hold somebody, let alone four, five, six, 50, you said - how stupid would I be to that?"

"I'm just telling the truth", he told King. And the reason I'm emotional is because this is the first time I was able to say something.

Kelly noted his acquittal in the child porn case and accused prosecutors of trying the same case again. "When you beat your case, you beat your case". We can double-jeopardy me like that, it's not fair. As for their age, Kelly said, "I don't look at "much younger" than me, I just look at 'legal'".

King also spoke with Savage and Clary about living with Kelly in another emotional interview.
