If Google Chrome is bugging you to update it right now, please stop what you're doing, and get that upgrade.

Luckily, Google Chrome should be configured by default to auto-update to the latest stable release, so most users should only need to restart their web browsers to be protected.

For those who don't know, FileReader is a system present in nearly all the modern browsers and lets web apps read the contents of files stored on the user's computer. A mark just needs to be lured into opening a booby-trapped website from, say, an instant-messenger link or email, or viewing a malicious advert, using a vulnerable version of Chrome to potentially fall victim. If this isn't your version, you can manually start a download.
