Federal officials said they have recorded phone calls in which Huffman, who is best known for starring in the ABC hit show "Desperate Housewives", and Loughlin, who is known for her role on ABC's classic "Full House", discuss the scheme.

Court documents say Huffman paid $15,000 that she disguised as a charitable donation so her daughter could partake in the college entrance cheating scam. A confidential informant told investigators that he told Huffman he could arrange for a third party to correct her daughter's answers on the SAT after she took it.

Coaches from Georgetown University, University of Southern California, University of California at Los Angeles and Wake Forest University are all indicted.

Loughlin and Huffman (as well as Macy) have yet to issue a statement or comment upon the charges. Huffman's husband, actor William H. Macy, was not.
