Mack, 36, wept as she admitted her crimes and apologised to the women who prosecutors say were exploited by Keith Raniere and the purported self-help group called NXIVM, based in upstate ny.

Mack had been charged alongside NXIVM founder Keith Raniere, with whom she allegedly recruited and groomed slaves under the guise of building a self-help, female-empowerment organization.

"I have come to the conclusion that I must take full responsibility for my conduct and that's why I am pleading guilty today", Allison said, admitting to two federal counts: one count of racketeering conspiracy, and one count of racketeering.

"I'm very sorry for the victims of this case", Allision said.
