Lori Loughlin Pleads Not Guilty After Indictment for College Bribery Scheme

Loughlin and her husband, the fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, who live in Los Angeles, both filed requests to be allowed to waive their right to appear in Boston federal court to enter their pleas to a new charge of conspiracy to commit money laundering filed last week, according to documents their attorneys submitted in U.S. District Court in Boston.

DailyMail.com revealed that Loughlin and Giannulli turned down a plea deal which would have drastically reduced their sentences because they thought prosecutors were "bluffing" when they said they could end up behind bars.

It's the biggest college admissions case ever prosecuted by the Justice Department.

In all, 33 parents have been charged in the college admissions scandal.

Loughlin, who played aunt Becky on the sitcom Full House, and Giannulli haven't publicly addressed the allegations against them.

Loughlin, 54, and Giannulli agreed with Singer to pay $500,000 to have their two daughters named as recruits to USC's crew team, prosecutors said, even though they did not row competitively, to help them gain admission. To make their new profiles more believable, however, the feds say Mossimo sent action photos of their daughters on rowing machines. After their older daughter was admitted to USC, authorities say Giannulli, whose Mossimo clothing had always been a Target brand until recently, sent Singer an e-mail with the subject line "Trojan happiness", thanking him for his "efforts and end result!"

Disney+ launching on November 12 for $7/month with 4K HDR content
The company has begun clawing back its movies from the streaming giant in preparation for the Disney + launch, executive said. The series is reportedly set to follow stories of famed bounty hunters, Jango and Boba Fett, in the Star Wars universe.

Loughlin's youngest daughter is social media influencer Olivia Jade, who started her freshman year at USC last fall.

The UTA-repped Loughlin and Giannulli were part of a yearlong investigation that also snared American Crime star Huffman and more than 30 other parents.

But those who did not plead guilty, including Loughlin and 15 other parents, were charged a day later with a count of conspiracy to commit money laundering. They face potential sentences ranging from a few months to a few years. Huffman is scheduled to appear in Boston's federal court on May 24 to plead guilty. Prosecutors say some of the parents facilitated cheating on the SATs and ACTs on behalf of their children, and some parents bribed college coaches to smooth their children's path into college.
